Somewhere in the depths of a large, wild, green forest lives the bison Pompik. Actually, he is a tiny bison Pompik: compared to other bison, he is small and not as strong, fast or brisk as his peers. He is not very good at traditional bison play: horn-thrusting, bumping into trees or the bison tag around the clearing. But he has other interests, in fact, Pompik is the most inquisitive animal in the forest.

It is a warm, wise story for children and parents, teaching tolerance and respect for nature. It is also full of fun facts about the life of forest animals.
