MOMAKIN: promotion, organization of the opening press conference

For a month, twelve participants of interdisciplinary workshops, guided by outstanding visual artists –– Sylwia Nowak and Marcin Zalewski –– learned to create film puppets. The post-workshop exhibition showcases the duos’ projects implemented according to their own ideas.

The puppets at the exhibition are accompanied by sketches and elements of individual stages of the creative process –– such as castings, and materials used for costumes and makeup –– which form extensive documentation of the fascinating process of creating objects. The entire process of their production was carried out in accordance with the rules of art –– after creating the puppet’s frame and modeling the body, costumes, style elements and character painting were done.
